This is a unique children’s portrait series, where I have created 7 different outdoor environments: a sunflower field at dusk, lupins by the lake, a weka in South Island bush, Muriwai Beach, hot air balloons in Cappadocia, birds in the garden, and sunset at Paraparaumu Beach. I photograph the child in their own yard, then place the digital portrait into an environment of the parent’s choosing, creating a memorable art work of that child interacting with nature.
